Grey is the most interesting colour in the spectrum, the space between opposites where nuance lives. Gris is built on that concept: a fragrance of precise balance between masculine and feminine, warm and cool, restraint and depth.

Bergamot and cool citrus establish an opening that is deliberately ambiguous, neither one thing nor the other, and all the more compelling for it. Vetiver and smoke emerge in the heart with quiet authority, adding a cool, almost architectural precision. Warm amber and cedarwood pull everything toward something richer and more personal in the base, the grey of the title becoming warmer as the fragrance evolves on skin. A fragrance for those who don't need to be classified.

Performance

Formulated at 30% concentration, Extrait de Parfum, the highest category in fine fragrance. Expect 10 to 16 hours of wear with a rich, evolving sillage that opens boldly and settles into a deeply personal skin scent over time. One or two sprays is all that is required.

How to Apply

Apply to pulse points, the inner wrists, base of the neck, and behind the ears. Do not rub. Allow the fragrance to dry naturally and interact with your skin's warmth. For best performance, apply to freshly moisturised skin or over an unscented body lotion. Dry skin absorbs fragrance faster. Oily skin holds it longer. At 30% concentration, one or two sprays is enough.

Care and Storage

Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. UV exposure and temperature fluctuation degrade aromachemicals over time. A drawer, cabinet, or wardrobe shelf is ideal. Avoid bathrooms. Kept correctly, your fragrance will perform at full strength for 3 to 5 years.

Interesting but came in dented box

The fragrance itself is fascinating — the smoke and incense are unusual and the amber base is lovely. The box arrived a bit dented and crushed at one corner which was disappointing as I was giving this as a gift. The juice was fine thankfully.
