The Difference

Why Most "Dupes" Fail

And what we do differently.

The Problem With Cheap Clones

Walk into any market, browse Etsy or eBay, and you'll find "inspired by" perfumes for $20–30. They all use the same shortcut: pre-made type oils.

How Type Oils Work
  1. A supplier creates a single fragrance oil that "smells like" a designer scent.
  2. The clone seller buys it for $5–10 per 100ml.
  3. They dilute it to 20% in cheap alcohol.
  4. Bottle it, mark it up 400%, and sell for $30–40.
  5. It smells "close" for 20 minutes, then fades.
  6. No complexity. No evolution. No longevity.
Our Approach

Real Perfumery

We don't use type oils. Ever. Instead, we build fragrances the same way luxury houses do: from individual aromachemicals, molecule by molecule.

Why It Matters

The Difference You'll Notice

Longevity

Type oil clones fade in 2–3 hours. You reapply constantly. Ours last 8–12 hours from a single application.

Complexity

Type oils smell flat and linear. Ours evolve through distinct top, heart, and base notes — just like the original.

Skin Chemistry

Real perfumes interact with your skin's natural oils. Type oils smell identical on everyone because they're too simple to react.

Value

Pay $30 for 3 hours of wear, or ~$70 for 12 hours of wear that's 90% identical to a $300 original. The maths is simple.

The Bottom Line

Are we the cheapest? No. Are we the best value for quality? Absolutely.

If you want a $20 clone that smells "close enough" for a few hours, there are plenty of options. If you want something that actually performs like the $300 original — just without the brand markup — that's what we do.
