What's the difference between your perfumes and designer originals?

We use the same individual aromachemicals sourced from the same suppliers (IFF, Givaudan, Firmenich) that luxury houses use. The difference is we don't have celebrity endorsements, marble boutiques, or billion-dollar marketing budgets. You're paying for what's in the bottle — not the brand name on it.

What concentration are your perfumes?

Our perfumes are formulated at 30% concentration — Extrait de Parfum strength. Most designer fragrances are 15-20% (Eau de Parfum). Higher concentration means richer depth, better longevity, and fewer sprays needed.

How long do your perfumes last?

Typically 8-12 hours depending on your skin chemistry and the specific fragrance. Oud-based and amber-heavy fragrances tend to last longest. Fresh citrus scents may be slightly shorter but still outperform most designer EDPs.

What's the difference between room sprays and perfumes?

Room sprays are formulated for air diffusion at 15% concentration, optimised for throw and coverage. Perfumes are formulated for skin at 30% concentration, optimised for longevity and close-range projection. Different purposes, different formulations.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. We don't use animal-derived ingredients and we never test on animals. All our aromachemicals are synthetic or plant-derived.

What size room spray should I get?

50ml is perfect for bathrooms, cars, and small spaces. 100ml is better for living rooms, bedrooms, and regular use. Most customers find 100ml lasts 2-3 months with daily use.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping takes 3-7 business days, Express takes 1-3 business days. You'll receive tracking once your order ships.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free standard shipping on all orders over $100 within Australia.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within Australia only. International shipping is coming soon.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with your Australia Post tracking number.

What's your return policy?

We accept returns of unused, unopened products within 30 days of delivery. Contact us at hello@scentroom.com.au to initiate a return.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Can I exchange for a different scent?

We don't offer exchanges on opened products due to hygiene reasons. If you're unsure about a scent, we recommend starting with a room spray to test the fragrance family before committing to a perfume.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes. We work with boutiques, hotels, and Airbnb hosts. Contact us at hello@scentroom.com.au for wholesale enquiries.

Can I request a custom fragrance?

We occasionally take custom formulation requests for large orders. Email us with details and we'll let you know if it's something we can accommodate.

Where are your products made?

Everything is handcrafted in small batches in our Sydney studio. We source aromachemicals from global suppliers (IFF, Givaudan, Firmenich, Fraterworks) and blend, macerate, and bottle locally.
