Eau Rihla is Diptyque's tribute to the journey, named for the Arabic word for travel. Warm, leathery and quietly luxurious, it captures the feeling of arriving somewhere unfamiliar and immediately feeling at home.
Raspberry, saffron and pink pepper open with a warm, spiced fruitiness that is immediately intriguing. Leather, iris and cedar at the heart build a smooth, refined depth that is the defining character of this fragrance, sophisticated without being heavy. Vanilla and musk in the base settle into a soft, skin-close drydown that lingers beautifully. At 30% concentration this is Eau Rihla with a richness that rewards repeated wear.

Performance
Formulated at 30% concentration, Extrait de Parfum, the highest category in fine fragrance. Expect 10 to 16 hours of wear with a rich, evolving sillage that opens boldly and settles into a deeply personal skin scent over time. One or two sprays is all that is required.
How to Apply
Apply to pulse points, the inner wrists, base of the neck, and behind the ears. Do not rub. Allow the fragrance to dry naturally and interact with your skin's warmth. For best performance, apply to freshly moisturised skin or over an unscented body lotion. Dry skin absorbs fragrance faster. Oily skin holds it longer. At 30% concentration, one or two sprays is enough.
Care and Storage
Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. UV exposure and temperature fluctuation degrade aromachemicals over time. A drawer, cabinet, or wardrobe shelf is ideal. Avoid bathrooms. Kept correctly, your fragrance will perform at full strength for 3 to 5 years.

We source exclusively from IFF, Givaudan, and Firmenich, the same suppliers used by Dior, Chanel, and Tom Ford. Never a pre-made type oil. Never a shortcut.
